The Foundations of Salvation and Sanctification in the Life of a Believer
Using resources from the Church of God doctrinal commitments, Assemblies of God Fundamental Truths, and the Southern Baptist Convention, explain your understanding of salvation, sanctification, and the role of the Holy Spirit. Support your essay with relevant Scriptures and describe what it means to be part of the body of Christ.
Genesis: The Foundation of God’s Revelation
After completing Foundations of Faith, Basic Bible Survey – Old Testament, and reading through the Book of Genesis, explain how Genesis establishes the foundation for all biblical doctrine. Explain the literal creation account, the Fall, the promise of redemption in Genesis 3:15, and the importance of God’s covenants with Noah and Abraham. Show how Genesis reveals God’s character, the origin of sin, and God’s plan to redeem humanity through Christ. Describe how the events in Genesis set the pattern for the rest of Scripture, and why a literal understanding of Genesis is essential for understanding salvation, sanctification, and the work of Christ.
Spiritual Formation and Ministry Growth in the Life of a Believer
After completing Kingdom Living, Power Principles, The Ministry of the Holy Spirit, Intercessory Prayer, Biblical Worship, Battle for the Body, and Strategies for Spiritual Harvest, explain how a believer grows in spiritual maturity and becomes effective in ministry. Describe how spiritual disciplines, obedience to Scripture, and the work of the Holy Spirit shape a believer’s character and guide their daily walk with God. Show how these courses reveal the importance of prayer, worship, Kingdom principles, spiritual warfare, and faithful service in the body of Christ. Describe how spiritual growth prepares believers to serve others, share the gospel, and reflect Christ in every part of life.
Living Out a Biblical Worldview in Daily Life
After completing Developing a Biblical World View, Kingdom Living, and Power Principles, write an essay explaining what it means to live with a biblical worldview in everyday life. Describe how Scripture shapes the way a believer thinks, speaks, and makes decisions. Explain how a biblical worldview affects relationships, work, morality, and the way we respond to trials and temptation. Show how the teachings of Christ guide our values and actions, and why believers must stand on truth in a world that rejects it. Describe how a biblical worldview gives clarity, direction, and strength as we follow God and represent Him in every part of life.
Some courses in our program may look alike, but they are not duplicates. Each one covers the subject from a different angle, adding something the others don’t. One may focus on the practical side of living out your faith, while another digs deeper into the theology or history behind it. Taken together, they complement one another and give you a fuller picture of God’s Word. This way you are not only grounded in the basics, but also equipped to think more deeply and apply biblical truth in every part of life.
