The Foundations of Salvation and Sanctification in the Life of a Believer
Using resources from the Church of God doctrinal commitments, Assemblies of God Fundamental Truths, and the Southern Baptist Convention, explain your understanding of salvation, sanctification, and the role of the Holy Spirit. Support your essay with relevant Scriptures and describe what it means to be part of the body of Christ.
The Bible as One Unified Message
After completing the Bible Project Genesis series, write an essay explaining how the Bible tells one unified story. Discuss themes such as God’s covenant with His people, humanity’s struggle with sin, and God’s plan of redemption fulfilled in Christ. Show how these themes appear across both Old and New Testaments and why they matter for believers today.
An Overview of the History of Christianity and Its Impact on the Church Today
Using Brad Copp’s History of Christianity 1 and 2, summarize key turning points in church history. Highlight how major events like the Early Church, Reformation, and Great Awakenings have shaped Christian doctrine and practice. Reflect on why studying church history is important for modern believers.
The Doctrine of the Trinity: Understanding God’s Nature and Why It Matters
Drawing from The Gospel Coalition’s Doctrine of the Trinity and Basics of Systematic Theology, explain the biblical basis for the Trinity. Discuss why this doctrine is central to the Christian faith and how it shapes our understanding of salvation, worship, and Christian living.
Some courses in our program may look alike, but they are not duplicates. Each one covers the subject from a different angle, adding something the others don’t. One may focus on the practical side of living out your faith, while another digs deeper into the theology or history behind it. Taken together, they complement one another and give you a fuller picture of God’s Word. This way you are not only grounded in the basics, but also equipped to think more deeply and apply biblical truth in every part of life.

This course is meant to show how secular scholars explain religion, not how the Bible defines truth. Their approach is human-centered, not God-centered. Keep in mind that Scripture alone reveals God's truth: there is one God and one way of salvation through Jesus Christ (John 14:6; Acts 4:12). Use this course to better understand the world’s thinking, but always test it against the Word of God (Acts 17:11).
